Talk-It-Over

The “Talk it Over” groups were started as a way to get to know others in the church on a personal basis as well as sharing the views of each person on that Sunday’s sermon or Sunday school lesson, or on another topic dealing with our faith.

The groups start with 6 to 8 members. Each member is urged to invite others to join the group and discussion. When a group reaches 10 to 12 members, it then divides into two smaller groups. These groups are also encouraged to invite others, leading to more people involved in the discussions as well as new people in the church.

The groups usually meet on Sundays after the service although some meet during the week. They get together either at the church, at a restaurant or in someone’s home. The meetings normally last for one to two hours, depending on how the discussions are going.
